Resources for SEO Beginners

Getting started in SEO can be daunting.  Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is both a science, backed by empirical, metric driven data, as well as an art form.  It takes skill to develop engaging content that others want to share, and at the same time, understand the vast knowledge base of technical SEO best practices.  This article introduces a number of resources for SEO beginners that will help the novice learn the fundamentals of search marketing and start to “speak the language” of this growing field.

There are a few basic concepts an SEO beginner should be familiar with, including:

  1. SEOmoz is a must for anyone starting up. It is the tool that’s easy to understand and give easy instructions. I would also recommend it. All the resources you have enumerated are the must haves of beginners.

  2. yes i agree with you. forums and blogs which you have mentioned in the list are very helpful for beginners.everyone who wants to know about seo must go through blogs and forums.

    think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me.
